We all went to the young adults' event called "Game of Life". It was a really, really cool and fun concept I must say. Just that the time frame given for us to play wasn't all that sufficient.
And guess what? I won a S$99 Levi's watch from their "Leisure Lucky Draw"! Whoo hoo!! :D
I was talking to Matthew who was also at that event and his remark was "Whoa, you got something out of nothing." haha.
Check out my watch man :D
We then boarded the bus..
Daryl, Me & Yourong :)
Daryl, Me & my NEW WATCH :D pardon my face. It was in reaction to Daryl's. HAHA!!
Upon reaching our destination, we unpacked and started playing Saboteur and MUNCHKINS! :) Jeremy Teo brought them :D Haha.
In the meantme, the 'birthday surprise committee' - Cherie Wong, Me, Anna, Abigail, Daniel Foo & Jake -were also planning our birthday surprise for Anthony & Jaslyn @ Fish&Co. HAHA.
We went up to the room to pretend to "play Saboteur" and discuss how we're gonna surprise Anthony & Jaslyn. We were so drama. HAHA.
Anna's suggestion was "Why don't we get Cherie to pretend to fall down and injure herself in the middle of the field and then she'll phone Anthony for help and all of us will rush there and then suddenly take out a birthday cake?"
We all agreed in unison until we realised that there were many factors that could prevent its success. Haha.
We continued discussing UNTIL SUDDENLY, Anthony walked in and almost foiled our whole plan. HAHA. We then kept switching places and trying to solidify our plan and then suddenly Jaslyn came and talk to Cherie. I almost fainted. HAHA. Another near foiled plan. LOLS.
Finally, they all went supper and me, anna & abigail stayed back to fix the plan. Whew.
Returning from supper, we continued munchkin-ing and we munchkin-ed for over 2 hours :)
My munchkin arch enemy / last minute ally. HAHA!
We finished our munchkin game at around 4.30am. Haha!
The next day we woke up super late @ around 10am+ And we played "Bang!" until around 12pm+ before we left for Fish&Co for lunch :)
Daryl dear & Me :D
Joel, Jonavan & Jeremy :) The 3 Js :D
Joel, Melvin, Me & Jeremy :)
After lunch, we all went to do different stuffs. I went shopping with Anthony, Jake, Daniel, Cherie & Jaslyn :)
Posing with Topman hats :D haha. This is an illegal shot cos we're not allowed to take pictures -.- Haha. O well, commercial reasons.
Next up was the SUPERBLY, AWESOME, MIND-BLOWING, GOD-ENCOUNTERING, HEART-MOVING, LIFE-CHANGING, DOUBT-DISSOLVING, FOUR HOUR service. Haha.
Ps James Singh has a really unusual style of preaching that breaks all homiletical structure but is way more effective than what homiletics can teach you.
Preaching halfway, the Holy Spirit will just reveal something about someone to him and he will stare at you and start telling you what the Holy Spirit had revealed to him.
All that God spoke through him was scarily accurate. In the middle of his sermon, he turned, pointed to me and started telling me 5 main points of what the Holy Spirit revealed to him. I was shocked, all my good friends who knew what I was going through and know me was laughing because of Ps James Singh's prophetical accuracy. Haha.
Thank God for that irreplaceable service. :)
Next up was BBQ! :D
Jon Wee & Me :)
Jon Wee, Daryl & Me :D
Melvin darling & Me :)
Halfway through the BBQ, it rained again -.- Haha. But don't worry, our main heroes Daniel Foo & Joel Qin brought the BBQ fire into shelter and placed them on the drain concrete slabs to prevent the heat from burning the tiled floor apart.
This is the outcome of their hard work :)
After our BBQ dinner, we played another round of "Bang!" :) haha.
Andrina & I playing "Bang!" :D
Abigail & I playing "Bang!" :)
The morning half-woken up smiles. HAHAHA! :D
Jon Wee & Me :)
All in all, this camp was really enjoyable, fun and we did take 5 with plenty of board games :) haha.
My only regret is that I didn't get have much HTHT (heart to heart talk) with my friends and besties. Other than Daryl and Jake when we were on the bus. Haha.
Yup, hope we will have more of such encounters and bonding time together and I really pray we'll take this out to our pre-believing friends out there in the world :)
