Board Games Weekend! :)

4th & 5th July was spent laughing, chatting and cracking our brains on the board games. Ok, maybe not brain-cracking cos the games weren't all that intellectual. Haha.

Saturday was a pretty long day for me. In the morning I had fish4men prayer and vision renewal session. In the afternoon I had MM prayer and worship session.

And after that, we went to Jeremy's house to play MUNCHKINS. Haha. The 'we' are: Abigail, Anna, Jeremy, Joel & I.

It was a pretty cool game where we spam monster cards at each other, help each other and devour each other. HAHA.

We took THREE HOURS to finish ONE ROUND of Munchkins and we used up THREE EXPANSION CARD SETS. HAHA! We're crazy.

In the end, I WON!! WHOO HOO. My victory left a bitter Joel grumbling about his "could-have-let-abigail-win opportunity". HAHA! I keep telling him that my victory's already planned since the beginning of time. LOLS!!

We then proceeded to tian tian huo guo for dinner in bugis which SUCKED BIG TIME - Slow service, average food, lousy steamboat (huo lu - i learnt that that's the stove tingy in chinese. HAHA), super slow food refills and worst of all - EXPENSIVE.

Thanks to Joel Qin who wanted to join Jon Wee & Melvin at that scam steamboat syndicate (SSS). HAHA!
Nevertheless, it's the people who makes the event turn out fun :)

Jon Wee, Me, Melvin, Joel, Jeremy, Abigail & Anna :)

And btw, check out my new polo-T i bought :D HAHA. They all say it's nice, except Joel who was jealous of my figure. HAHAHA!

After steamboat, we still went for supper till a late 1230am plus.

And thanks Joel for sending ALL OF US back home! :) haha.

That was saturday.

Sunday was service as usual - mediocre. Haha. Then mentoring training which was really good. Learnt lots of stuff from Ps Nicholas who used his much of the discredited greek model to teach us. HAHA.

Then I was to join Jeremy, Cai Jie, Cheryl, Meryl and Laura for a jog at Hougang Stadium.

However, it rained. So we ended up playing board games for 2 hours at Daryl's (or cheryl/meryl's) place. Haha.

We played and chatted and we lived out the Hebrew model where CaiJie imparted truths to us in a coach-like, informal setting. Haha. Ok, imparting truths is still Greek. Whatever. LOLS!

Yup, had a really great time laughing, chatting, playing and catching up with a whole diff. lot of my besties :)

That was Sunday :)

Thank God for board games. Haha.
