Pumpfest Kukup Trip

6 days before we entered into semester 2, we went on an overseas trip to Kukup :D We met up in the wee hours of 3rd January at Kranji MRT...7am is no joke for the easterner like me. Haha...LOLS.

From this super early meeting, we now can safely say that Priscilla is really not a morning person...HAHAHA! Stay so near, still so late! LOLS! And Sean, stay at Pasir Ris yet he is the earliest...Haha. Oh well, some of life's little paradoxes...haha.

Yup, we boarded our mini van that took us round the whole journey :D Our driver is a nice, quiet uncle who SMOKES and suddenly stops by some roadside market to buy corn...HAHAHA! We all thought it was a toilet break or something...until he came back with a plastic bag of corn...LOLS.

Our next stop? BREAKFAST :D A really awesome, dim-sum breakfast :D The ride there didn't take too long :)

After this awesome, eat-until-gonna-explode dim-sum breakfast...which only cost about $10/person...we proceeded back to the mini van to go on our way...

Our next stop? The chocolate factory :D Let's begin the next pit-stop with a solo picture of me...AGAIN. HAHAHA!

Ok, the chocolate factory was really NOTHING...It's just a shop which sells chocolates...It only had 1 spinning-chocolate machine which wasn't even turned on or demo-ed for us to see...-.-" Haha...Oh well, at least the toilets were clean...HAHAHA!

Our next stop? Some museum...and this time, it's not starting with a solo picture of me :( Haha! Anyway, we didn't take much photos in the museum...and it was really boring...The only slightly more interesting part is the garden outside :D haha

After that is our much anticipated SEAFOOD LUNCH! :D However, our anticipation was let down by the rabak food...Only one dish was good...the steam fish...Most of them were like "Whoa, I prefer the breakfast to this..." hahaha...

Our next activity (which is at the lunch place) is the main highlight of our whole trip :) Ferrying off to visit a fish farm! :) Once again, let's start it with a picture of ME :D HAHAHA!

The most interesting sea creature there to me is the horseshoe crab...I thought it was some crayfish or something...haha...That's when the owner told us what it was...

Oh and here (fish farm) we lit our paper lantern! :) We wrote our wishes all over it like "GPA 5", etc...and then we lit it and let it fly high into the sky :D Hahaha.

Yup, that was about it...we headed back to the boat for our return trip :) Had an awesome time at the fish farm :D

After that, we went...SHOPPING :D Haha...We went to the main malls so the stuff were around Singapore price...And I bought my Topman Skinny Chino khaki jeans there :D Haha...Fell in love with it while shopping with Daryl back in Singapore...and I finally bought it :D Haha.

Next up? A nice ride back to the Malaysian customs and back to Singapore...we all slept soundly on the way back..haha

Yup, that was a short getaway, a day trip for us before school starts :) Back to school lo!

Amy's birthday! :)

As the title says...It's Amy's birthday! :) I'm pretty surprised she invited me...haha. Cos I ain't that close to her...but I'm close to her friends Lebbillie and Yang Cheng through music ministry...Joel through leadership ministry...Xin Jin through Lebbillie...etc..Haha.

But I don't know Amy that well. Haha. Nonetheless, she graciously invited me...so I went :) haha!

Ok, to be honest, I was actually contemplating hanging out with my NTU friends Kian Seng & Alex instead...they wanted to meet me at Tampines SAFRA to play pool :) Haha! I was all game about it...but, there was Amy's birthday.

I decided on Amy's birthday in the end because I see Kian Seng and Alex EVERYDAY in NTU!!! And birthday celebrations bring together a unique group of people who are mostly strangers but become friends because of a common friend...Haha. I mean, such meetings are awesome...you don't get that everyday! Yup, so I went. Haha.

The fellowship was great and Amy's mum's cooking WAS FANTABULOUS!! HAHAHA! And her mum is also really nice and cute...She'll come out chat with us and laugh around with us and tell us how the food was prepared.

Her dad is also really engaging. Haha. I went to Amy's place early...because I came direct from a project meeting in school...haha. So while Amy was bathing, her dad kicked up a conversation with me and we began chatting about my school and going at length about our army experience. Haha.

Anyway, we didn't carry our conversation that long...maybe around 15-20mins?? haha...That's when the rest arrived. haha! And of course, Joel arrived too, with his KINECT!! :D :D HAHAHA!

After an AWESOME dinner, we KINECTED. HAHAHA! I was stripped off my Kinect boxing championship title by the birthday girl :( HAHAHA! I think our boxing match was rigged...The kinect is slanted to her side...therefore sensing her motions better and therefore defeating the best kinect boxer in the world - Jonavan Lee. HAHAHAHA!

WHATEVER. LOLS. Her brother also joined in the fun...haha. Yup, and I refused to dance...HAHAHA! I don't know why...probably because I was in jeans, because I was full and because I had a badminton game 2 days from the meeting...If I play too much kinect, my hands may suffer severe post-muscle-aches like what happened previously at Lebbillie's place during Christmas. The muscle ache lasted for a WHOLE WEEK!!

Haha. Anyway, it was great to see them all dance...HAHAHA! OH! I haven't uploaded their dancing videos! LOLS! Will do it soon...Haha. And yup, can see why Debbie & Cherie are called "dancers"...they really have the groove and the feel when they dance...Haha. Unlike me and the general person who moves awkwardly trying to follow the kinect dancer...Haha!

Kinect stole the whole show! Like Amy's dad said "Whoa, the kinect really made time pass by very fast..." Agreed. Haha.

Yup, before leaving, there is always one activity necessary...PICTURE TAKING!! :)

Yup, we did our countdown in Heart of God church :) Asked a few friends to join us but sadly, none came. Joniece was the closest to coming...but in the end, didn't... :( Haha.
