Thank God for Nick who lent us his van till the following noon. We went back to return all our equipments to church. :D
Little did we know they have some "giving out bread to the community" event. haha. We're all hardly in sync with Bethel now. It's a ticking time bomb. Once it explodes the current leadership out, then there's hope again :)
The main thing wasn't the returning of stores...It's our breakfast! :D HAHA!
We were discussing where to go for breakfast. I was suggesting Burger King @ Tampines Mall...because the BK @ TM has a 1 for 1 burger offer...The new burger...Forgot what the name is. However, they weren't too supportive of the "Tampines" idea. The main thing isn't the location...it's the ONE FOR ONE! & pedahal, Tampines is near Matthew & Marc's place.
People can be just plain prejudiced against someone suggesting a place near their home...even when it's entirely logical and beneficial to the "community" as a whole.
Anyway, we did go to Burger King...but the Burger King @ East Coast...Haha.
Here's the really funny part...the cashier who served us was UBER BLUR. We approached the counter and all of us were like spamming orders to him, making him blur.
Matthew & Marc ordered set meals which came with fries, drinks & complimentary ice-cream and Renee & I ordered only a burger and a drink...w/o fries & ice-cream.
So we got half our orders and we would later return to collect the remaining drinks. However, when I returned to collect the rest of our order, the cashier, blurred out & confused by us, gave us extra 2 packs of large onion rings & gave us extra 2 ice-cream!! HAHAHA!
We got a 1 for 1 after all! :D HAHAHA! We were there laughing & talking and enjoying our special treat. So before leaving, I thanked the cashier. Who just smiled and waved back to us goodbye. LOLS!
