Me & Zhan Rong playing "Bang!" :D
Jerome, Jonavan & Jeremy...the "J"s! :D Still playing "Bang!"
Me, Jeremy & Meryl :D I'm such a bright yellow lightbulb...HAHA!
Yourong & I :D
The photographer was a lil' enthusiastic...take 2. Haha.
I forgot to mention...After Street Fighter-ing, we headed to a kopitiam for supper and to watch soccer -__-" Haha.
Mode of transport? Joel's car. Legal capacity? 5 pax. Present strength? 8 pax.
2 in front, 4 behind...2 in the boot -__-" Who's the 2?
HU LEE YA! These 2! Marc & Myself! Haha.
Lying in the boot wasn't too uncomfortable. The only thing is, it's really HOT! Best part, Marc tried to take a picture of us in the boot...FAIL. Joel's red brake light could barely light up our faces enough to be recognizable on camera...HAHA!
Oh well, after the horrifically humid ride, we reached.
Me, Caleb, Matthew, Yourong & Jon Wee...Joel, Marc & Daryl hiding...haha
Daryl & I :)
Daryl watched soccer until sleep...Power. I don't even follow soccer and I could stay awake watching it. Haha!
Seeing how the players react to the angsty and victorious situations are really entertaining...more entertaining than the gameplay itself. HAHA!
Daryl trying to look awake for this picture...Fail. Haha!
Next morning! :) Woke up to a breakfast of McDonald's! :) Thanks to Aunty Doris, Daryl's mum, we wouldn't have to scavenge for last night's leftovers for breakfast. Haha!
Bathed, freshened up, took a last photo with Daryl...which was kinda rabak. He no more in photo-taking mood liao...No more in his contact lenses so he no mood liao. HAHA!
Me & Daryl :)
Once again, Happy 21st Birthday Daryl! :) It was a fun chalet. :D
Chalets will never be the same man. Compared to last time, we had tons of us chalet-ing together having unreserved (not to the point of reckless) loads of fun.
Nowadays, lesser people stay due to work commitments, relationship commitments, etc...Even if they do stay, we're now all more reserved and have pretty much lost a bit of the familiar connection.
I think this is due to the fact that we haven't have much zone camps, youth camps, etc...recently. All these small camps really bond us together and unite us together not for just fun, but for a common purpose. This focused synergy really built our bonds.
Secondly, many of us have joined other ministries, stepped down, lost commitment and our time spent together ain't like what it used to be last time...Service rehearsals together and going out after that. Service together, go out after that...
With all these convenient meet-ups lost, something's lost too.
Thirdly we all treasure the activity more than the company. L4D! Aiya, don't want la...Play pool! Huh...Watch movie! Huh, that show?
It used to be...L4D! WHOA! Everyone wanna go play...we had trouble selecting the eight people. Watch movie! On la...we commit first, can decide on the movie later...Pool? Steady la...
Fourthly, there's been quite a bit of undercurrent between all of us. Shan't state them explicitly, in fact, shan't state them at all. Haha.
So sad eh? It's more sad to know that I am part of the four causes of this "friendship meltdown".
Ok, I shall stop talking 'bout the good ol' days......I wrote a song about "Why ain't it called the good NEW days" recently. Lols. Really came out of inspiration where I felt God drop me this question. "Shouldn't the future be more promising with me? Why are we then still calling the past 'the good old days'?"
Yup, God may you slowly restore and recreate whatever's been lost and bring us forward! :)
