If you didn't read my previous post on Pre-FOOT 2012, and have no idea what F.O.O.T is, it stands for Freshmen Overseas Orientation Trip :D It's put together by NTU ODAC's (OutDoor Adventure Club) FOOT committee! :D
FOOT exists to welcome NTU freshmen into not just the NTU environment, but more importantly, integrate them into the ever-loving ODAC family :D
Quoting once again from one of the most outstanding seniors in ODAC, Ms. Peak Siah "FOOT is a MAGICAL process that will bond everyone into the ODAC family" The word "magical" is really interesting and I feel that it quite captures the essence of the whole camp.
She stood up and made this statement to all the seniors during the Local Seniors Camp (a FOOT rehearsal for the seniors) at the SRC grandstand and her conviction in those words left an impact on me. Haha! She really is a good leader...In word and in deed :)
Yup, this post on FOOT'12 is written from a highly biased senior's perspective who thinks that his Orientation Group (OG) called DOMA is the BEST OG IN FOOT'12!! HAHAHA! LOL! I shall not justify my claims because it is bound to offend other OGs...HAHA!
We have a tagline for DOMA which other OGs also randomly chant sometimes...It goes..."DOMA DOMA 我喜欢我喜欢!" And indeed, DOMA DOMA 我喜欢我喜欢! Or rather, I should say DOMA DOMA 我最爱我最爱! :) haha!
Yup, I will go through the series of events rather chronologically as usual. However, for each program in the itinerary I'll be posting photos from both OSC (Overseas Senior's Camp) and the actual FOOT itself...if not I'll have to talk about OSC first then the actual FOOT. Yup, I've incorporated the 2 :)
I've only selected and edited the best few photos I love to post in this blog post...If you want to see the THOUSANDS (no kidding) of photos, go Facebook and add the 10 photographers for this event...HAHA! I've scavenged through all their photo albums for a few days and taken out the best shots with me in it...HAHA! Yup...
The first program for all FOOT-ies is the indoor games at SRC basketball court. Played blindfold game there...all of us were blindfolded and we were supposed to group together in our OGs...and we played the "burst-the-balloon" game...balloons were tied to our legs and we had to burst other OGs balloons :D
The next interesting program is the station games or amazing race around school. Haha. There are several game stations all over NTU. So it is like an orientation for the freshies as we make our way round prominent places around NTU and play games there! :)
For DOMA, the first stop for us is the boulder gym! Located in the Sports & Recreation Centre (SRC) and maintained by the University Mountaineering Club (UMC)...Why I know so much? Cause I'm from Pumpfest!! A bouldering event committee :D Haha.
Chor Seng, Gabriel & I at the boulder gym :D |
Envelopes containing bits and pieces of the picture of our next location is pasted all over the wall. Freshies have to climb, retrieve those pictures and put them together to see where our next location is :D
One of the most amazing moments was when our freshie Jaclyn revealed some of her hidden talent...ability to stretch her head all the way backward and touch her legs...Well, she did this on the wall so head-touch-leg a bit the impossible eh...Haha!
Her back has eyes...well, she brought them there...LOL! |
After this station we headed to ADM - School of Art, Design and Media to play a massive skipping rope and arrange birthday game.
We all stood in one line and played skipping rope...LOL! That means everyone has to jump TOGETHER...utmost coordination of timing is essential...The picture below is a failed attempt...haha..Can you spot the culprit? LOL!
Jump rope failed attempt..haha! |
From what I see, Jace (Girl in blue, 3rd from right) is definitely one of the culprits! HAHAHA! LOL! Her long legs were like fully extended in the photo? LOL!
Jace is also another freshie that I spoke quite a fair bit with :) She seems quiet and introverted at first sight but once you get started with her, boy has she lots of things to say. HAHA!
One of the most interesting and nice things she told me and a few of us was "Jonavan, if you were in other OG, I'd sure pick you as my SP." I was like "WHOAAA...So affirmative ah? LOL!"
As a freshie, you can only pick your SP (Senior Pal) from other OGs...you can't pick seniors within your own OG to be your SP :D
My joy didn't last long when she justified herself "Because if I pick you, I don't have to talk much, you can do all the talking" WOWsss...deflated my balloon of ego...HAHAHAHA! Jk! So yup, that was Jace for me, an opiniated, straightforward girl :) Haha!
So after that we had to arrange ourselves in several orders - birthday, surnames, etc...at the staircase -.-" So we could only move along that 1 flight of stairs...
And by the way, DOMA's official mascot Domo was also with us throughout the journey...HAHA! Here's a picture of him at ADM with us! :D LOL!
Domo de Doma! :) HAHA! |
Yes, we call him Domo de DOMA! :D HAHA! Anyway, the highlight of this arrange-yourselves-in-a-squeezy-environment game is...Teo Sian's rapturous expression when he brushed past Juicy Joshua...LOL! LOL!
Just look at Teo Sian (in brown shirt & white pants) enjoying the moment...LOL! |
If you're wondering why he's called Juicy Joshua, we didn't give him that name, he gave it to himself! LOL! We played a game where we had to introduce ourselves with an adjective that alliterates with our name.
When it was Joshua's turn he went "Hi, I'm *slurp slurp* JUICY JOSHUA!!" We were all "LOL!!!" in reaction...HAHA! His adjective did more than alliterate, it induced heavy guffaws in everyone's belly. HAHA!
Yup, Joshua's a really funny guy. He seemed pretty quiet at first but after warming up, boy was his supply of jokes never-ending. Haha! His cranky smile and laughter also never fails to evoke laughter in everyone else.
During the overseas component, his act of showcasing his "hot buns" or his juicy backside was also really entertaining. Without him, quite a fair bit of the funny moments will be lost.
Through FOOT I also discovered that he is a musician! A guitarist and not bad a singer too. He sang pretty well for his SP date I must say...Haha! I dare say that Joshua is more than juicy...He's funny, comical and musical :D
Yup, after the ADM station we headed to Canteen B to find Shi Min & Wei Hong :D There the freshies played charades with our GLs Chor Seng & Xuan Qi :D
The highlight of the charades? They got Vernon & Rachel - our 2 freshie lovebirds to act a "kissing" scene together :D HAHA!
Vernon & Rachel "Kissing" |
Why are they lovebirds? Oh, lemme get started...with Vernon. Haha! Vernon did not come for our Pre-FOOT events participant's brief and banner painting so when he came for the 1st day of FOOT, he was the freshest freshie...HAHAHA!
I first met him in the SRC indoor bastketball court where we were in the first part of the program. I went to talk to him saying "Hi! What's your name? I'm Jonavan" and he gave me the "What the **** you want from me?" look...When I saw that look I immediately (within that split-second of seeing his killer-stare) justified my self-introduction "Oh, I am one of your seniors in DOMA"
After I said that, he then smiled and said "Oh, hi I'm Vernon" LOL!! It went something like that...He portrayed himself as a super tao, non-chalant, cool guy that didn't wanna interact. HAHA!
And I couldn't help but notice that he kept sticking with Rachel! Even later in FOOT when we were doing cheers, 2 of them were at one side laughing together!! Their chemistry and being together was soooo obvious that they became labelled as lovers in DOMA from the start of FOOT. LOL!
So that was how they got their "love" label...Haha! From then on, I kept disturbing Vernon & Rachel like throughout FOOT. HAHAHA! And this label is here to stay. LOL!
Anyway, after the 1st 2 games, Vernon opened up and he was all smiley, friendly and super participative in every game. So the initial image of that tao guy was shattered after we all interacted well :D
I must say he has an awesome show of leadership. Throughout the whole camp, he was the de facto leader of the freshies...He was initiating cheers, game ideas, skit ideas, etc...He gave the team direction.
He's also a Christian! :) I got to know that because I bumped into one of my army friends, Shi Wei - a Tekong officer - who knew Vernon. I know he was a Christian attending FCBC so when Shi Wei asked me "Do you know Vernon? He's also in ODAC camp" Then I was like "How u know him? Same church?" haha..Spot on as always...HAHA!
Yup, pretty cool guy I got to know...I guess the reason why he's got that initial tao/killer feel is because of his army training...He's a SNIPER OFFICER!! Rare breed of NSF man! Hahaha! Don't pray pray with him ah! LOL!
Anyway, our next station is the water-bomb station. There is a box of rectangles on the canvas demarcated by raffia strings. It's like a 15 x 8 array of rectangles. There's a fixed route by which everyone must go through. So if you step on a rectangle that is not part of the correct route, you will be splashed with water! :D
Everyone is bound to be splashed with water at least twice...Unless you're lucky enough to like figure out the route by accident...HAHA! Once again, the highlight of this game is....
Rachel doing her hair commercial :D |
Rachel with her hair commercial! HAHAHA! After being splashed with water, our sporting Rachel flipped her hair seductively like what those ang-moh ladies would do in a hair commerical...HAHA! It was a LOL moment for all of us! HAHA!
Rachel is another phantom freshie who only appeared during FOOT itself. Haha! She's a really bubbly, spontaneous, sporting and LAUGH-Y person! HAHAHA! She's super 敢来 one...HAHA! Lemme show you one super 敢来 picture of her...
Rachel and MUSCLES...HAHAHA! |
Just look at the pure ecstasy painted all over her face! HAHAHAHA! She is oh-so-敢来 man! HAHAHA! We keep disturbing her about her jia-ba tendencies...HAHA! Whenever Calvin takes off his shirt or when some buff guy like Bryan Ang (her SP) walks past she will be seen ogling at their build...HAHA!
So once spotted, we keep disturbing her for it! LOL! And the sporting part about her is this, SHE PLAYS ALONG WITH US! When we disturb her, she makes it more fun-filled by adding on! HAHAHA! She is a real fun-loving person. Her smiles are also always super wide and her laughter, loud & infectious! HAHAHA!
She's also a Christian from Lighthouse Evangelism if I didn't remember wrongly...Haha! While I was chatting with Vernon about FCBC Rachel inevitably was involved...HAHAHA! So yup, glad to know she's a believer :) The 2 of them are like the only freshies I spoke to about faith-related stuff though...
Another funny picture at this splash-water station is Yun Xin! LOL! She look like some ah-lian threatening Chor Seng with a smile...LOL!
Ah Lian Yun Xin! LOL! |
Truth be told, Yun Xin is far from an Ah Lian...haha. She's a DRAGONBOATER!! Haha! Yes, we were all shocked to find that out too! LOL!
Yun Xin's a rather soft-spoken girl with a really nice alto tone of voice...haha! Sorry, singer cum musician here...I always hear people's tone of voice and deduce their vocal range...LOL!
When she rehearsed the song "You are the only exception" by Paramore with me for her SP performance, it sort of melted my heart...LOL! I don't know why but I'm guessing it's her beautiful tone of voice...That sweet and rich alto tone is pretty rare. Haha!
Talking about music, Yun Xin's also a Grade 8 pianist!! WHOAA! If you thought I was musically inclined, she is even more musically inclined! Haha! But piano & music isn't really her love in life though...haha...It's just a lil' chapter in her life as a young girl. haha.
She's a really nice person with a SUPER-WIDE happy smile...HAHA! Conversations with her are also rather easy as she has lotsa stories to share :) haha :)
Yup, after the kena-splash-water game station we made our way to Nanyang Lake to the wettest station of all... -.-" I actually kept myself dry all the way! I didn't wanna get wet but......as usual, was volunteered by my friends who were already wet to play... -_-" HAHA!
On our way to Nanyang Lake :) |
This time, the highlight of this game isn't any freshie, it's ME! -.-" HAHAHA! During the Local Senior's Camp, I also avoided this station...by hiding behind a tree...HAHAHA! But I was found out and made to play this soapy station...HAHA!
So this time, during the actual FOOT itself, they 不要放过我...LOL! When I was volunteered I was like "I'm not freshie! The freshies are supposed to play not me!"...and guess what happened next?...See for yourself...
Me playing the-slide game...by force...HAHAHA! |
And off I go...sliding on the soapy canvas on my belly :D HAHA! |
My plan of remaining dry was thwarted terribly -.-" Forgot who volunteered me...I think Priscilla or Gladys or whoever la...Once my name was shouted, everyone was like "Jonavan! GO!" -.-" HAHA! Anyway, it was fun la...just didn't like the feeling of getting soaped up and soaked out...LOL!
If you thought the day was over...you're wrong! There's NIGHT CYCLING! Backside tear! LOL! Backside LITERALLY tear...sitting on a rented bike with a real hard seat with leave you with sore backsides...HAHA!
Anyway, during the LSC, I didn't complete the night cycling route...LOL! Because I set the gears wrongly and was actually doing cardio training for the first 3-5km...HAHA! A straight road seemed like uphill to me...LOL!
I thought it was just me...because so long didn't cycle so I pressed on and tore my backside...HAHA! After Calvin (FOOT comm) came and see my gear setting, he gave a lil' "HUH" face, changed my gear setting and whoa-lah, I was ready to go! But by then, my entire legs were already sore from the massive "uphill" training...LOL!
Well, I learnt from there :) During actual FOOT itself, I made sure the gears were alright and this time...I COMPLETED IT :D HAHA!
Throughout the journey Chor Seng, Xuan Qi & Gladys were like "Whoa, Jonavan not bad eh?" I almost slapped them...LOL! Keep telling them LSC was gear problem liao they still think "No la, Jonavan weak la" SUCKERS! HAHAHAHA! Eat my dust! LOL!
Anyway, here's a group photo of DOMA mid-way through the night cycling route :)
Night cycling! :) |
Oh and throughout the journey there was Wai San behind me...she kept saying "Whoa, I cannot make it alr...I very tired...I'm a weak cyclist, etc..." and then SHE COMPLETED THE ROUTE...LOL! Gladys & I were disturbing her about it...LOL!
Yup, night cycling was great :) Made many small talks and cracked don't know how many jokes to keep the atmosphere alive...LOL!
That was the first day...The picture roll shows that the next event on the next day was DRAGON-BOATING! :D
We took an hour long bus ride to Bedok Reservoir for our dragon-boating :D So, needless to say, after night-cycling just several hours before, many people knocked out on the bus ride there...Haha.
Si Kai, Me & Dee Fei :D |
Yes, that was me in the middle - the fiercest dragonboater :D HAHA! Each OG took one boat each...but because 1 boat ain't big enough to fit the whole OG, only 4 seniors were on the boat with the freshies.
Being really sacrificial in nature, I volunteered to be on the senior's boat...HAHAHA! LOL! Just kiddin :D I was rejected :( HAHA!
This game was a test of teamwork and stamina..haha. Paddling together is the main thing...if everyone paddles at their own pace, the boat wouldn't really move much...haha.
The main highlight of this I think is THE SENIOR'S BOAT! When the command to get ready was given, we were the only boat to give a victory roar! :D HAHA! It went "*BOOM BOOM* SENIORS!!" The *boom boom* is the thunderous sound of our paddles hitting the side of the boat...HAHA! COOL RIGHT? :D LOL!
Yup, here's a close-up shot of me on the senior's boat together with Shi Min, Dee Fei & Si Kai :D
On the senior's boat! :) |
Splashing water at each other was really the BEST PART! HAHAHA! We took the senior's boat around and splashed at every OG's boat...LOL!
After the competition...the senior's boat came in 3rd out of 4th place -.-" HAHAHA! So much for the victory chant eh? LOL!
Oh well, at least my OG, DOMA came in tops! :D If I remember correctly...HAHAHA! LOL! So yup here's a grp photo of DOMA after dragon-boating :D
DOMA! :) :D |
Dragon-boating was indeed lotsa fun! :) But tiring too...So yup, up next was our bouldering & rock-climbing...It RAINED!! So DOMA didn't get to rock-climb :( Haha! Oh well, throughout the rain we sat down and planned our food competition ideas :)
Next up is our departure for Malaysia! :) Previous few FOOTs were held in Pelepah...but this time we had a new campsite - Taka Melor :D This waterfall is located in the state of Johor near Labis :D Below is a shot of us during our OSC - Overseas Senior Camp :D
DOMA seniors! :) |
And the coach that fetched us wasn't too bad. Sleep-able...LOL! Once again, seen below is a shot of us during OSC and after this picture is a shot of us on the bus during actual FOOT...see the diff! :)
Some DOMA seniors on the bus! :) |
DOMA on the bus! :) |
Upon arrival at our campsite, soldiers, what do we do? Dig shellscrapes...LOL! Well, for us civilians, we pitched our tents and got ready for the first game - Game of Thrones :D
The essence of this game is - we have a "base". We need to protect our "base" from being wet by other team's water bombs. While protecting our base, we also need to attack other people's "base" :D Cool right? LOL!
During OSC we could only throw water bombs with whatever apparatus we could come up with...we had to create a water-bomb-launcher! Haha! For most groups, the best water bomb launcher invented is this:
Jian Wen & myself holding the "water-bomb-launcher"! LOL! |
DOMA's throne and it's defenders/attackers...Haha :D |
Me, Ryan, Rachel & Pris before the games started... :) |
The best part of this was Priscilla who was giving her fine speech on safety to DOMA...It went something like this: "Everyone! We can have fun but SAFETY is top priority! :)" IMMEDIATELY after Pris finished that glorious statement, *BOOM* a water bomb SMACKED RIGHT INTO HER FACE! LOL LOL LOL!!
Totally EPIC! Immediately after a "safety" brief and she kena bombed...HAHAHA! Gladys & I were rolling in laughter...LOL! Anyway, here's a close-up wet shot of us :D
Me, Xuan Qi, Rachel & Chor Seng :D |
This is the best part of the trip! The trek up! :D This is the very reason why FOOT camp stands out from all other school's orientation camps! The overseas component! :) Lemme start the picture roll with what I think is the best group shot in the whole OSC trek :)
DOMA seniors! :) |
Xuan Qi, Me & Pris :) Got the privilege to take photo with probably the 2 prettiest girls in DOMA :D HAHA! |
Me, Chor Seng & Priscilla :D |
DOMA seniors again :D |
Another shot of us seniors :D |
Ryan, Joshua, Me, Yvonne, Vanessa & Yun Xin :D |
DOMA group shot! :) |
Jason, Me & Terry :) |
The leech landed on my right leg near my knee and I happened to see it! LOL! I was like "LEEEECCHHHH!!" and everyone turned to look...LOL!
At that moment, I was holding an empty 1.5litre water bottle in my hand so my reaction was to "WHACK AH!!" LOL! And whack I did...relentlessly! LOL!
What was left of the leech was a pathetic, smashed up and badly battered piece of black rubber-like material which I pulled off my leg. No blood loss at all! LOL! It didn't even manage to dig its fangs into my leg...HAHAHA!
Whenever people ask me about my leech encounter I'd tell them "My first leech encounter was the leech's last encounter" HAHAHAHA! Yup, no pictures of the leech sadly..LOL!
Apart from the not-so-manly encounter with the leech, on the way up, I also had a pretty heroic moment which was captured on photo! :D LOL!
A lil' heroic moment! LOL LOL! |
Ok la, nothing heroic la...but it's a nice gentlemanly shot of me helping Yvonne which I must publicize to up my portfolio...HAHAHAHAHA! LOL LOL!
Yup, the rest of the trek was just climbing and climbing lor...and making small talks, sharing jokes, trying to play games and cheer...LOL!
Upon reaching the top, we all simply dived into the water! Ok, I didn't because the water is SUPER COLD!! Haha! We also played a water game..don't know what's it called...but it's a good game to play when in water :) haha!
Playing water games at the top of the waterfall :D |
Gladys & Jun Liang LOVER'S POSE!! :D HAHAHA! |
Guess what? During the demonstration during OSC, Gladys kissed the WRONG SIDE!! HAHAHA! So Jun Liang & Gladys' head bumped into each other! LOL LOL! So they sorta "kissed"...LOL! This got all the seniors choking in laughter! LOL LOL!!
From then on, they became an item. HAHAHAHA! They're also sporting enough to play along with all of us luh...So yeah, what a great couple! LOL! HAHAHA!
Ok, so after the trek up...was the...trek down...AHAHA! DUH! And after that is our FOOD COMPETITION! :D
The food competition involves the freshies having to come up with a few awesomely good food dishes and they have to use a skit to incorporate the food dishes they came up with :D
One of the most interesting dishes we had was our WATERMELON COCKTAIL! :D Haha! It was meticulously sculpted by our craftsmen JUICY JOSHUA! LOL!
Joshua pruning the watermelon :D |
Ok, the view from the picture above looks quite bad...but here is the awesome outcome of the watermelon! :D
Watermelon cocktail! :D |
To the left of the picture is the spaghetti cabonara, to the back of it is our spaghetti bolognaise and to the right is our burger! :D
The watermelon cocktail was really, really, refreshingly good! The watermelon gave the canned cocktail that was poured in a really light and refreshing taste :)
For the skit, I must really commend Calvin for his exceptional acting and sacrifice for being so voluntary in letting himself be camo-creamed all over...HAHA!
Calvin with camo on...LOL! |
DOMA freshies with their awesome food-competition dishes! :D |
The next part of the overseas component is the SUPER GAY part...where we have our Miss Pelepah - Taka Melor edition...HAHA! It involves the OG getting someone to cross-dress and act like a lady! The best actor will win the Miss Taka Melor! HAHAHA!
I don't know why but Ryan got volunteered...HAHA! Ryan's a really nice guy. From the onset when I first met him at participant's brief I thought he exuded a really nice, gentlemanly feel...Haha!
He's an airforce officer! :D When I found that out, I linked him with Chor Seng & Moley to have a lil' airforce talk...HAHAHA! Yup, anyway, I really don't know why he was picked to be the "tranny" because he's not very 娘 to begin with...LOL! Anyway...
Prepare yourselves for the shock of your lives...Don't close your eyes! Take a deep breath...and...
Ryan Koh starring as BABAB!! :D LOL! |
I suddenly burst out "Let's call him Backside As Big As Breast!! BABAB!!!" LOL! So Babab was his name...and also a descriptive acronym of himself! :D HAHAHA!
From the picture above you can see that not only his "breasts" were bulging, his "backside" was also about to explode anytime...HAHAHA! We stuffed 2 balloons at his chest and 2 at his backside! LOL!
Oh, but I must say, the best tranny is still our CGL (Chief Group Leader) STEVEN TOON!!! His acting, dressing and feminine mannerism is totally WIN standard...HAHAHA! Here's just one disturbing photo of him...LOL!
Steven the hardcore tranny!! LOL LOL!!! |
Everyone was laughing away and some were really disturbed...LOL! No kidding! And there you have 1x Vernon in DOMA getting impressed by Steven's transsexual skills...LOL!
Anyway, that wasn't the most gay moment for me...the most gay moment for me was during the SENIOR'S SKIT!!! -_-" *facepalm* LOL!
I actually didn't wanna talk about it but it's still an integral part of my time here in FOOT'12...HAHAHA! Viewer's discretion is advised! LOL!
Me & Kai Sen...LOL! |
Ok, enough of the rabak, disgusting, GAY and backside-tearing part of FOOT's overseas component! LOL! After all that is the emo part where we lit 孔明灯 :D We wrote all our wishes on it and set it a-light! :D
Releasing our kong ming lanterns :D |
After that we all gathered together as an OG to sing a few songs and let everyone share whatever is on their hearts for DOMA :D We had a nice sharing session with everyone sharing about how touched and happy they are to have come for FOOT :D
Talking about singing songs...I was like the official guitarist for DOMA...or rather, SLAVE guitarist for DOMA! HAHAHAHA! I played the guitar for like almost every SP performance and for bus rides and whatever...LOL!
But, I had a great time! :) I love playing the guitar and singing so doing all these for them was really nothing much :D It was really a time of being able to use my talents to bond everyone together :)
There are many shots of me on the guitar but I've only picked the best 2 here...Haha! Oh and by the way, the guitar I used wasn't mine! HAHA! Credits to XUAN QI for allowing her guitar to be used throughout the camp! LOL!
Bringing the guitar overseas and OUTFIELD is a big NO-NO for me...My guitar case and guitar may get spoilt in the damp jungle environment..HAHA! So there you have a sacrificial GL called Xuan Qi who graciously allowed the use of her guitar... :D
Ok, to bring her back to earth in case I over-praised her, she told me she also never use the guitar so therefore, lending is no issue...HAHAHAHA! LOL LOLLL! But really, thanks for allowing my filthy hands to defile your guitar :D Haha!
Talking about SP performances, lemme highlight 2 of them that I felt was really good...They did their SP performance at Taka Melor! :D
The best one was Calvin, who really did the most shit to get Yan Ling as his SP...HAHA! So Yan Ling was sold for the highest price...HAHAHA!
Camo-ed his back with mice |
Have to act as geisha... |
Finally! Yan Ling is his! LOL! |
Vernon with his heart-shaped pancake for Pamela :D |
DOMA DOMA 我喜欢我喜欢! :) |
Me & Gabriel! :) |
On our way back to Singapore, an SOP is for us to stop over at City Square Mall to have dinner before heading back to Singapore :D
During OSC, we had dinner in Kim Gary Restaurant...Here's the best shoot in the restaurant featuring the 3 best-looking guys in DOMA :D HAHAHAHA!
Jun Liang, Nicholas & ME! :D |
Food served on a piping hot stone! LOL! |
Before we were all wet from store-washing, our GLs Chor Seng & Xuan Qi got us to take a jump shot with them...Here's mine :D Haha..
Chor Seng, Me & Xuan Qi :) |
Anyway, store-washing was really fun...FOR THE FRESHIES! HAHA! The picture below will tell you why...LOL!
DOMA freshies carrying me to get wettt -.- LOL! |
Gladys wasn't spared either...HAHA! Below is a soaked picture of both of us with a really dry Jason & grouchy Zun Chen in the background...HAHA!
Jason, Gladys & ME! :D |
DOMA canoe-poloing! :D |
Swee Chye & I :D |
Moley & Jonavan...MJ! :D |
I must say I really like our introduction as emcees...HAHA! This is how it went...
M: Hi, I'm Moley, the M
J: And I'm Jonavan the J"
"And together, we are MJ!"
And we did the Michael Jackson pose with our straw hats (pictured above)...haha! We then walked to the sides of the stage and threw our hats at the audience much to a loud applause :D HAHAHA! Cool right? LOL!
Yup, SP night was all about the skits really, nothing much about the romance between you & your SP...Yes you get to sit and eat with them...but soon after, you'll all be rushing off to act in your skit...haha
There are 4x senior skits from the 4 OGs and 4x freshie skits from the 4OGs...That took a massive amount of time...Haha!
Some of the OGs' skits served to entertain...they put together real funny skits that rip people apart with laughter...However, Gladys & I wanted to do something meaningful that will appreciate our freshies...This means that only our freshies will understand our inside jokes and all...Haha.
Yup, I'm glad our freshies did the same :) They put together a skit which showcased all of us seniors and what makes us special to them :D
That was SP night...much more took place but once again, whatever I shared are the few moments that left its impact on me :) Yup, here's 2 group photos! :)
DOMA @ SP Night! :) |
DOMA seniors with our photo frame :) |
Me & Nicholas :D |
Lemme end the WHOLE POST with a picture of all the cute and beautiful gifts I received during FOOT! :)
All the gifts and identities I received during FOOT surrounded by my emcee garland :D Haha! |
Yup, that was FOOT'12 for me...there's MANY MANY more stories and pictures not covered but those in this post are the essential snippets of my life's journey in FOOT'12 :)
I'll be following it up with one more last post - POST FOOT 2012 with DOMA! :D Haha! So stay tuned! :)
