Yet another round of Direct Enlistment exercises in Tekong...As the Sea Ferry I/C, my job is to move around from Pasir Ris Bus Interchange (PRBI) , SAF Ferry Terminal (SFT) and my office to ensure everything runs smoothly and react to any cock-ups on the ground.
But of course, cock-ups are rare. So I usually send my friends into Tekong :D HAHA!
This round of enlistment, I sent 3 of my friends in...
1) REC Donovan Loh.
He's my church friend. I'm his fish4men leader :D Met up like twice before he enlisted. Haha. He's a really, super-duper nice guy. Well-mannered, polite, respectful and putting others before himself, it's hard not to love him :D Haha.
He's also a really smart guy...didn't take As...went straight to NUS High and emerged as the cohort's valedictorian...So my guess is a genius like him will most likely go to OCS? Haha. We'll see... :D
He shaved before he enlisted -__-" So my picture with him at the ferry terminal is already botak -.-" HAHA!

2) REC Ken Lok
Another smarty pants church friend of mine. Went to Raffles Junior College and was headhunted by SMU...They offered him a place! Ok, still subject to final approval but..yeah, he's getting offers while I'm getting rejected. HAHA!
He's also a really nice guy, witty, smart and sharp. Sure survive one...LOLS!
My pictures with him? Stuck in his father's I-phone -.-"And, I don't know his dad. Haha. No email, nothing...so I guess the pictures'll die in the phone or maybe Ken will transfer it out...Hopefully. HAHA!
And yes, like most of us, Ken loves his hair too much to cut it before entering...HAHA!
3) REC Jethro Ang
My cousin! Basically another smarty pants as well...He's a really hardworking person and likable by nature...not the super extrovert kind but you'll enjoy talking with kind...He doesn't make friends, people will make friends with him...haha. He's a tad too friendly...scared he kena bullied by the more dominant ones...Haha.
Since he's my cousin, I know his parents...Duh. So whatever pictures we took is obtainable. Haha! So here are the few (quite a lot actually) pictures we took :D

Over the week, I saw Ken twice and Percy once! Haha! Today I saw both of them at the cookhouse...
I saw Ken, waved and continued walking to my seat. As I put my plate down and was about to sit down to eat, I heard someone shout my name "JONAVAN!"
I turned around and saw PERCY!! Haha! Guess what was my response?
"Is this how you address a sergeant? Want to carry on 20 in the cookhouse?" HAHA! I then slapped his back and asked how was he...Haha.
Both Ken & Percy gave around the same reply "Boring la...just do a lot of physical exercise, marching and do CPT (Combat Physical Training) and road marches..."
Yup, have yet to see Donovan & Jethro yet...Hopefully will soon. Jethro's been SMSing me though. Donovan totally taos SMSes...HAHA! He probably saving battery for the 2 weeks confinement. HAHA!
OH YA! Now it's no more a 2 weekend confinement. It's only a 1 weekend confinement! The COs all confine them only for 2 weeks! Whoa. Getting slacker & slacker man...Soon there won't even be confinement period man. Haha.
