Melvin & I went shopping for sailors' & pirates' outfits for this coming saturday's pirate-themed Youth Anniversary. Melvin told me that Joanne said "I think Far East got pirate and sailors' outfits" and so we went there to find the stuffs.
And guess what? We had a nice time shopping for our own wants w/o finding any pirate-ish or sailor-ish outfits..HAHA. I'm not saying it's Joanne's fault or wadeva...we still had a fun time walking around and talking nonsense. Haha.
Today's outing was more meaningful for Melvin. Why? Because he got a job interview in Fourskin @ Pacific Plaza! Haha. From shopper to worker. LOLS. Pray he gets the job :)
Anyway, an interesting question Melvin asked me yesterday which I also asked him back today "Will you do this in front of *HER* on your first date or subsequent dates? :D"
The 'this' is our incessant burping during meal times. HAHAHAHAHA!!
I would I guess. I'd just entirely be myself even on my first date. Of course if it's in some posh restaurant the show of etiquette will be of a much higher standard la...My behaviour is subject to the atmosphere of the surroundings. Haha. In hawker centres, burping will be a mere commodity. Haha!
I won't put up much of any facades cos I don't want my future darling to fall in love with someone whom she dated and not someone whom she has married. HAHA!
But ppl still put on facades daily even in close relationships. That's why CaiJie always tell me "If you want to get to know the girl you like, DON'T talk to her, observe from afar and see how she interacts with friends and family" He's right, cos people put on masks and act nicer when they're with ppl they unfamiliar with, especially when they're with someone whom they can sense is interested in them.
But we still have so deceived ourselves that communicating is the best way to get to know the person of our dreams...HAHA. We're all blinded by infatuation or is it love?
Haha. So yeah...I hope tomorrow will be a fulfilled day! :)
