My 20th Birthday :)

Today was crazy. Haha. Initially, I was supposed to meet my mum for lunch at Swensen's to sort of celebrate my birthday. However, the queue at Swensen's was super uber long, so my mum decided that we shouldn't queue lest I get back too late from my lunch break and get caught.

So me and my friends/colleagues - Sam, Royston, Jay Lloyd & Kuan Teng went for lunch @ KFC :)

Cake facial...LOLS.

They wanted me to put my face into the cream of the cake right there in KFC, but I ran away. HAHA!! So they brought the cream out on a KFC take away box... -_-" They're really out to smudge me with the cake's cream..haha.

Next we had to cross over the overhead bridge - the main entrance to TP - to get back to our workstations. And guess what? They decided to hold me down and throw the whole lump of cream at me there!

Jay Lloyd held me down while Sam tried to buah the cream on my face. Haha. I then dipped my hand into the plate of cream and buah-ed it all over Lloyd who was holding me down. HAHAHA! Then we just started spamming cream all over the bridge and in the end, all of us were all creamy :D HAHA.

It was a crazy mess. And alot of my students also witnessed this crazy lab assistant of theirs going berserk with cream. HAHAHA! There were also a few lecturers walking pass us and they were like "Wohh wohh wohh...I don't wana be a part of this.." haha.

Haha. I'm all smelly with cream smell now and typing this post. Haha. But yeah, I'm glad they remembered to celebrate my birthday :D HAHA. Although I did drop a reminder. LOLS!! Haha.

Anyway, I came across this breadboard while tidying the labs. Haha. A breadboard for those who don't know, is a board used to connect and hold components in place...haha.

I'm quite surprised by the birthday wishes extended to me this year...Because they are from friends who are not that close to me and some of them are friends I haven't caught up with for a long long time. Haha.

What about my closer friends? Only Melvin wished me... :( HAHA! Thanks melvin darL :D But I'm sure they have something in store for me. We don't forget each other birthdays :) Haha.

Yup, I hope my day will go well at work too :) HAHA!

"Who Cares?"

I had another vocal rehearsal with Zane yesterday :) We settled our parts and layering of voices for our song "Who Cares" :)

We had a great time together exchanging vocal techniques and insights and sharing some of our favourite bands and singers and trying to reach their high Cs and Ds (An octave higher than the middle C. HAHA) using our head voice. And guess what? I can reach a high Bb! Whoo hoo :D HAHA! Chris Daughtry's favourite note. HAHA!

I also showed him a few of the songs that I've written and he really liked some of them:) Whoo hoo! :D haha. He was like "why don't you cut albums?" Idea. haha. I'll see how :) Haha.

Zane is also really entertained and intrigued by my sense of humour. HAHA. "You should join the drama club man. You're so animated! HAHA" LOLS. Drama club. I did perform in a few plays in school & church, but I don't think I'll do that full-time. Haha.

Yup, thank God for this nice friend with the same interest in singing and music :)

AND, the midnight muttons from 98.7FM came to our school yesterday. We went for their little talk. One of the guy's voices was super manly low kind. Wow. haha. Anyway, they involved the audience a lot and they also suaned us alot alot. HAHA.

One couple got pranked by them to dance on stage in front of everyone. HAHA. Anyway, they pretty funny. Haha.

So yup, I hope the rest of this week will go beautifully well :)

My Birthday Wants :D :D :D

The arrival of my birthday is in 3 days time! :) Whoo hoo! Haha.

It's my 20th time celebrating my meaningful entry into this forlorn planet. Haha. Ok, Jon, let's not get sophistically philosophical. HAHA!

I'm still quite excited about birthdays even though I celebrated it 20 times. HAHA!

Anyway, here's a few birthday present suggestions (AHAHAHA. Not tt I'm BHB, But i dun want irrelevant presents :D HAHA)...

1) White loafers. I showed Joel one from Pedro :D :D :D HAHAHAHA! Joel must've regret shopping with me. HAHA!

2) A pair of nice dark-hued sneakers. My current sneakers are dying from attrition damage. HAHA. The dark-hued sneakers should suit dark-coloured jeans :)

3) A nice white belt. My current Gucci belt is only half-dead. So a nice black belt to suit jeans & formal pants will also be nice :) As for the white belt, it should suit jeans and formal pants too :D Haha.

4) Slim-fit dark jeans. I have many pairs of jeans but I only love a few. Haha. So I don't mind a slim-fit dark blue or black jeans. Haha.

5) A nice wallet (WITH COIN POUCH). My current wallet is also dying. Haha. So I wouldn't mind a new wallet also :D HAHA! PLEASE INCLUDE COIN POUCHES. hahaha. Thanks :)

My U.K. foot size is size 9 and waistlength depending on cutting of jeans: 29-31. Haha. LOLS! Best way is to go shopping with me cos the sizes differ from cutting, design, brand etc... HAHA.

Yup, these are just suggestions. HAHA. Just try to adhere to this list so that your presents will maintain its relevancy in my wardrobe. HAHA! LOLS. :)

Ohhh I love weekends :)

For one simple reason I entitle my blog post this is because weekends are the only times I can get to do my own stuff and stuff I like and enjoy doing. I've gotta learn to enjoy what I'm doing and learn to live in the moment :)

Anyway, my weekend was spent once again recording "Who Cares" :) And then I proceeded to Chee Yong's (my TP friend) 21st birthday party! :) Haha.

There I met Chor Seng and many others who are in NS now and seeing their botak heads and stories just makes me don't feel like going NS. HAHA! But when I see their physical condition it also inspires me. HAHA.

I saw Chor Seng, slimmed down sooo much my gosh. And I also met Belvin who slimmed down uber uber alot. HAHA! Well I guess after i come out of it, I shall be flaunting my muscles around. LOLS.

I was at first just singing Chee Yong's birthday song when suddenly Joan popped up beside me. And when I saw her, 2 words came into my mind "BIRTHDAY KISS!" HAHAHAHA! I then brought those two words out of my mind and to everyone's mind. HAHAHA!

And Joan bo pian kena sabo-ed have to go kiss publicly lor. HAHAHA!! And Joan, at least we didn't make you hold your kiss for 21seconds hor. HAHAHA!!

And yes, we'll meet up soon :) Haha.

Sunday I played "Bang" with the usual gang - Jeremy Teo, Anna, Abigail, Myself and Joel. Haha. And then I went to meet David Cham for dinner :) It was a pretty nice dinner except that he tried to convince me to join Long Fa again. HAHA!

And guess what? I almost joined and transferred money to join him. But in the end, the transfer failed. Thank God. Cos when I went back home to tell my parents they were against my joining of Long Fa. Haha. They initially said it was up to me, but actually, they didn't want me to join them. And their reasons were equally compelling.

So I decided to stick to my parent's advice for they love me and know what's best for me. :)

Yup, so once again, weekend was cool :)
