Anyway, people have been asking me "How does it feel to be back?" And this is my answer:
I'm filled with a myriad of feelings and emotions. The main 3 include:
SADNESS because upon touching down in Singapore, we all instantly knew that all the love, fun, joy and stories we shared have ended and they are all now beautiful, tear-jerking memories that can never be re-lived. I also fear that those heightened moments of love, joy, passion and purpose I found in Shanghai are the best moments of my life :( But of course, that's just emo bullshit...but somehow, it's still present...But I know that greater chapters have yet to be written and I must continually avail God the blank pages of my life :)
JOY because I know I'm HOME! I can finally meet the people I love so much and that love me so much :) I can go back to Heart of God church and meet all my churchies and be filled, inspired and empowered to do greater things.
APPREHENSION because I don't know what's ahead. I gotta face my FYP and 12+ more modules. I gotta face my academic challenges, personal challenges in my life, start planning for my future career, etc...I really don't know about tomorrow and the many tomorrows that are waiting, but I do know who holds my tomorrow :)
Yup, I will be blogging about all my adventures in China. THERE ARE JUST SOOO MANY that I think I'll never be able to finish blogging them! Haha!
But yeah, I'll get started and I hope every adventure, chapter and discovery will inspire you to not just travel but to enjoy every single moment that life throws at you :)
